The new Dutch Superbus is able to transport passengers comfortably, at speeds up to 155 miles per hour.
Wubbo Ockels, former astronaut and professor at TU-Delft University, led the Superbus project. With a carbon fiber shell and an electric motor, the bus is able to accommodate 23 passengers in relative luxury. Each seat contains multimedia controls and a harness-like seat belt to ensure comfort and safety during the extremely speedy trip.
the super fast Superbus may provide a way to decrease congestion at a lower cost than building new trains.
